You’re there showing no pain

In the cold, through the chilling wind

You keep fighting till the end

Dear soldier,

Sweat and blood doesn’t make you frown

Sword of Damocles doesn’t bog you down

And if death lurks before you’ve proved your blood

I’m sure, as you’ve said, you’d kill death!
