Today Sailaja (PHYSICS) wore green Saree

Nice she was today than earlier in Saree

As soon as she entered the bus asked

Why you are coming today go home and

Enjoy, never again you will be getting these days

Back, none of the friends will come close says

All the elders, including me and at the age

Of forty & fifty you will feel the pain that you have

Not enjoyed in childhood and

Wasted your youth now which is dead

Actually tomorrow is “SANKRANTI”

So she wanted me to enjoy to fly KITES

To be with some friends

When she was telling all those things I was

Keenly looking her face, her eyes, her expressions

All were so nice, friendly & real.

I replied that “I don’t have any alternative

Than to be the college because I don’t

Have any/many friends to come with me

And at home, I have either to play

Computer games or to read books or to

Write the poems, nothing more than that

Inside me – I felt

“Something is better than No Thing,

No Thing is better than Nonsense”

Instead of doing Nonsense at home

It’s better to do Nothing at College.

She then asked, don't you have siblings

I said I have a sister.

Then you'd have fought with her

Being home?

I said, over are those all fightings

I feel bored.

She said, no alternative will be present

Unless we search.

Today, she provoked me but

Still, I say I don't have any

Alternative, I feel better being in college

Rather at home.
