The Unsung Story
The Unsung Story
On a lazy Sunday morning I grabbed my bike
And went out of the city noise for a long ride.
Blowing wind, silent roads and steep curves
Were enough to calm down my stressed nerves.
I came across a valley at a high altitude,
Stopped by the woods to grab my piece of solitude.
The cold breeze whispered in my ears
To learn from nature and live the coming years.
I noticed the huge mountain standing firm.
Compared to it I looked like before a bird, a small worm.
To me it seemed to say, “Hold your head up in the clouds
But never let your feet betray the ground.”
The dense green woods seemed to say,:
“No matter how much the dark shadows surround you in life,
your will shall pave a way to the sunlight.”
The river seemed to say, “Keep flowing the way life takes you.
You will grow enormous and reach the ocean blue.”
I was amazed and admired this teacher.
I have so much to learn from the Mother Nature.
From the clouds came out the sun,
I was a bit wiser in the end with a story to be sung.
