The Unexpected
The Unexpected
Streams of water rolled down the panes,
Illuminating white tides in the black sea,
A battle of dominance off in the distant sky,
The victory of lightning once a year after dusk.
Curled up in a corner reading a book so passionate and wild their love was,
Sipping tea turning the pages smiling and blushing,
Although eyes sometimes gaze upon the sky for the mesmerized perfect synchrony of meandering rain ,
The lamp spill in some light on the shadows that embrace the room's gate.
The thunder storms was an annoyance to me but still managed to behold the tender mood,
Knock - knock - knock
Thrice a time it gets louder
Stepped out of the bed and went straight to the corridor window,
Muffled screams surrounds the knocks trapped me in fear .
Controlling the tremendous trembling emotion asked his name?
No response came and that took my heart to regret,
Again a knock on the door and a voice too whispered within,
Cold and numb in gloom I uttered "Couldn't be able to open the door"!
The voice didn't replied to my answer,
I peeked from the window but couldn't saw anyone standing at my doorstep,
Bolts of thunder choked my bones and voice,
Mind couldn't relaxed or be satisfied,
Because the question was still floating in the wet air,
Who's was there?
A Stranger or A Ghost.
