The Tsunami

The Tsunami

As the distant horizon

Serenely heralds the morning sun

The pregnant Mother Earth

Seeks a bit to shift her girth

Her amniotic fluid breaks out

As the Tsunamical waves

And washes away without any doubt

Rich and poor to their watery graves

Following the aftermath contractions of grief

She delivers a baby of hope and belief

And christens it as Humanity

I see with great humility

Nature performing its act

Restoring equilibrium, as a matter of fact.
