The Storms of Love
The Storms of Love
She looked up to the heavens above,
Starry nights greeted her.
She looked at the ground beneath her feet
Lush green grass welcomed her.
Love is the ignition,
That sets rivulets on fire.
The candles of love,
Burn with the flames of desire.
Love is the storm,
That sets the heart on fire.
No rain can douse the flames,
In which the heart is mired.
Love is the dragon of the desert,
Looking for an oasis in the sands of time.
Love is the firefly in the dark,
That lights up dormant hearts every time.
Love meanders through roads,
That appears to be a maze.
Love is the journey,
Whose destination is hitherto unknown.
Starry nights greeted her.
She looked at the ground beneath her feet
Lush green grass welcomed her.
Love is the ignition,
That sets rivulets on fire.
The candles of love,
Burn with the flames of desire.
Love is the storm,
That sets the heart on fire.
No rain can douse the flames,
In which the heart is mired.
Love is the dragon of the desert,
Looking for an oasis in the sands of time.
Love is the firefly in the dark,
That lights up dormant hearts every time.
Love meanders through roads,
That appear to be a maze.
Love is the journey,
Whose destination is hitherto unknown.
