The Shining Body

No wonder how bright,

The moon is tonight.

Shining nightly,

And very brightly.

The stars are twinkling with all their might,

While there is darkness outside, left and right.

The moon helps those who want its light,

But always keeps itself locked uptight.

Moon is round, round

And crowned

By the light of the sun

And is having a lot of fun.

Moon is hung up high in the sky,

And is saying hi to the birds that fly

Moon is a very silent buddy,

Having no violent buddy,

Who does not study?

So let us now turn off the lights,

And wish everyone Good Night.
