The Savage And The Barbarian

The Savage And The Barbarian

You and I...

Are on the opposite sides of the

Pendulum baby, every time I

Feel the gap, I see you swinging

My way.

You and I...

Are riding different tides of the

Momentum baby, I can see your

Mind, but you're so far away.

You plus Me...

We are better together when we

Understand the balance of the

Yin and the Yang.

Our unity...

We can sever the tether when we

See the hand of malice is the

Source of the pain.

Be my umbrella in the torrential rain.

Hear my grievances when I complain.

Be the one to help wash away this stain.

When all else is gone, Please, won't you

Remain?

The best things in life are always free to

Obtain.

The test brings strife when there's nothing

To gain.

The guests and the wife are here, the priest

Is ordained.

Please don't leave me standing here, calling

Out your name.

The Savage and the Barbarian.

Unbridled souls, yet together as one.

Taking turns in carrying...

The weight of the world and the heat

Of the sun.

You and I...

Are on the carnival ride in the

Conundrum baby, and every time they

Change the track, you become

Night to my day.

You and I...

Forces that often collide, the addendum

Maybe in spite of my rhyme, I seem to

Lack the right words to say.

You plus Me...

We are tougher than leather when

We take up our plan to challenge

What makes other's insane.

Eventually...

We will have better weather, hand

In hand together, the razor's edge

We walk, will no longer cause pain.

Be the colour yellow when I feel grey.

See my achievements, hear the things

That I say.

Believe me when I tell you we are gonna

Be o.k.

With each other's hope, we will always

Find a way.

The best things in life, I see, are bound

To fade away.

Let our love be like the raging sea, and

Drown in it every day.

Won't you please accompany me, I

Think I've found the way.

I know we'll come around to be, right

Where we wanted someday.

The Savage and the Barbarian.

Unbridled souls, yet together as one.

Taking turns in carrying...

The weight of the world and the heat

Of the sun.
