The Road Less Traveled

No matter what the rest of the world babbled,

I am glad I took the road less traveled,

On the eve of the day we took off to the hill,

I was certain to experience a greater chill,

As we climbed the slope against the howling gale,

We were drenched in the driving rain that made us pale,

Drinks were something we never opted for,

Instead we warmed up our bodies with animal fur,

Our journey was filled with many twists and turns,

And they never stopped until we reached the taverns,

In the idea of fully fueling all our bikes,

We have used up all of our salary hikes,

We were all soaked up and nobody had any dryer,

Then we had dinner after dancing around a campfire,

The outstanding scenic beauties of Mandalpatti,

Overshadowed our worries of being muddy and cruddy,

As the waters flowed from the heights of Abbi falls,

It was more worthwhile to watch little kids with dolls,

With Dubare forest Chicklihole and Raja's seat,

I wondered if there is any place Coorg cannot beat,

For the masses who wondered if it is really Scotland,

A visit would make them call it a Tomorrowland,

Crunching numbers and coding data at a desk,

were not exciting than revelling here until this dusk,

No matter what the rest of the world babbled,

I am glad I took The Road Less Traveled.
