The New World

The Covid virus Unseen Unknown,

Has into gigantic proportions grown;

Human beings are in great distress,

When death is cheap, life becomes meaningless.

Humans walk in great fear,

Keeping away from those who are dear,

The fear is palpable,

The virus is unstoppable.

Life is now under the shadow of the virus,

Stalking and watching to invade us,

Humans have to be alert they have a lot at stake,

For the virus is waiting for us, to make that one mistake.

Mask is the only way to stop this invader,

This unwanted and deadly intruder.

From this setback will emerge a new world with masks,

A world where we will have to follow new tasks,

A new beginning, a new era, a new life.

Free from past tensions, past strife,

For in this new world we will walk on a path of our own,

The virus will be dead, and once again we

Will wear the crown.
