The Mountains Beyond
The Mountains Beyond
I watch you float amongst the clouds,
Distant serene and lonely,
You call me upon your childish bossom to laugh in your tears solely.
O if I could fly through these immese clouds and be a part of your immense self,
I would speak to you in silent words of stories that I had once read.
We would walk in your dense forests and I would climb upon your highest trees
You would laugh like a mother caressing a new born child that I would be.
I would come to you one day I promise, a promise that I will eternally keep
For where would I go in an afterlife, if not in your arms I would forever sleep.
