The Mirror
The Mirror
Depressed was she, asked the mirror
"I am the same, why has he changed?"
Mirror don't want but had to show
The scars of her face yelling her age.
Next day she went straight to the lane
With hours of cosmetics revived her face
Asked the mirror same question again
Mirror tried hard, could not find a blame
Last night scars that defined her face.
With zeal she cooked new list of food
deja vu of new bride to impress her laws
It's just eight, mere an hour o
f wait
or may be two if he is late.
Looked at the mirror every second it passed
Ready to love and to be loved
She looked at wardrobe she had at present
"He likes blue I won't wear any other."
"Its already ten how much I should wait."
She called him with no second to waste
Sorry he was as he forgot to tell
" Dear wife I won't come home , was just taking rest."
"It's okay" She node and smile
With many tears cracking down in line.
