The Journey Of An Undeterred Snail

The Journey Of An Undeterred Snail

I have sat here watching you,

Slither and drag like a voluptuous snake.

I wonder if you are toiling very hard,

Or is it a king’s order that you are here to adhere to?

You move as if to make me realize that

You are punished for a huge treachery

Slugging and crawling with a load so heavy,

On your tiny back, Oh what a pity!

You leave a slimy silken shimmer,

As an everlasting trail.....

For the rest of the world to remember,

There once lived an undeterred Snuggly Snail!
