The Invincible Battle

The Invincible Battle

No wonder they are called battles of one's own,

Or else why would we feel the scars alone?

Life is a battle they say,

But not everyone can conquer this fray.

It's a battle that never ends but hides.

It's a battle that gives you an illusion of hope and victory once you lose all your pride,

Yet comes back stronger once you start feeling alive.

Life is a battle they say,

Still, no one says that this battle is nothing but an addiction,

That we all fear to lose, yet curse to fight.
