The Inspirer
The Inspirer
The Great Guru Teg Bahadur Ji,
The Master of Spirituality,
The Protector of Humanity.
A philosopher who wrote religiously,
With a heart as big as the sea.
Donned his turban majestically,
And fought royally.
He consoled the lost and showed them their way,
Helped them to overcome their greed and ego away.
The Mughals tortured the Guru
But he had no fear of death.
The Guru was pleased enough,
As he worshipped Waheguru till his last breath.
Even though he was a Sikh,
He sacrificed himself to set the Hindu's free.
Deep down what an intrepid warrior was he.
His generosity was entirely selfless,
And his sheer brilliance was boundless.
The light of his divine presence will live on forever.
We shall never forget his supreme sacrifice ever.
