The Hurricane Ian
The Hurricane Ian
The fuming hurricane thundered across-- tripping, ripping and whipping,
There was no way to calm her barbaric fury intent on merciless stripping.
It swirled and it whirled, it raged and it roared, leaving the country bare,
The birds shrieked and fluttered in consternation, in fiendish feverish fear.
The plumes of dust moved at a maniacal speed tearing apart the trees
They helplessly groaned in pain- supplicants on their shuddering knees,
Animals ran in panic, but were mercilessly catapulted through the air,
In reckless abandonment the cyclone dislodged houses without a care!
