The Heavenly Roof
The Heavenly Roof
I broke down, splintered
With sufferings served,
Faded vision was mine
And babbles unheard.
My sight restored
After a numb nap,
I saw the ether,
An arrestic trap.
From simon to blushy,
To scarlet from hue,
I saw the sky pink
Mingling with blue.
My wounds so red,
Were moments ago.
They started to fade
Into a saffrony glow.
The grief embarked
In my heart so dark;
Reckoned, the struggle would paint
An imperishable mark.
My eyes still glaring
The sky, so stark.
And clocking how stars,
Furnished the dark.
My wounds were now,
Blue from pale,
Just as the sky, pearled
With starry trails.
The sky and me
Shared the woe.
Us awaiting to see,
the night let go.
Just me, my pain
And the sky aloof.
How soothing it felt,
Under the heavenly roof.
