The Hare and Tortoise

The tortoise won the race first time;

But this wasn't his time. 

Declared a race with Henry hare, 

Deer and dogs, hare and bear. 

Hare and tortoise in power

Ready to put up their tower. 

Rubbed their strong legs, 

And got ready for the race. 

A tall beast blew the whistle.

The great race started there, 

The tortoise and Henry hare, 

Ran on the golden track. 

The tortoise started very slow, 

With great confidence and strength low. 

Henry hare ran as quick as he can, 

Not taking a single break. 

At last the tortoise loses, 

And the hare won. 

The hare learnt from his past, 

And ran very fast.
