The Great Banyan Tree

            

Stand tall oh mighty mystical banyan tree   

  For all the seven world ; let you them see    

Your strength, capacity and undying courage

 each and every moment; forever amazes me. 

Like a caring, loving mother; you shields us 

from the unbearable tropical summer sun    

 Oh dear holy warrior, you are a preserver of      

 the immortal values that modernism has shun.  

When wind's are high, roaring and restless   

and then, you lose a limb or two      

  It only makes you stronger and determined 

 World could learn so much from you. 

Oh dear master; you taught me         

 the secret mantra of life ---           

 The word "impossible" is black         

 Just like the pain in your back        

  " I can" is like a flame of gold           

 That always shine's as you told.                           

Oh dear Yogi ! you are a divine symbo of 

 Selfless love, service, strength and sacrifice        

 I bow down my head at your eternal feet      

  No promise is enough, no gratitude suffice
