The drops that kindle
The drops that kindle
With the pen and paper in hand
A picture in the mind
Excitement in the heart
I got it all streamlined
Sitting in the garden
Looking at the sky
When the ink spread on paper
Something beautiful got glimpsed by my eye
It started raining
Not heavily but a light shower
I felt the smell of the soil
It felt that I am gazing a bower
The drops appeared like pearls
Shining in the sun
When I opened my arms
They acted as if they were made to shun
The more I want to hold them
The more they slip
Wonder how they will act
Leaving no single blip
The clouds appear dark
Thus decided to burst
Makes me wonder about them
What might be their thirst
Clouds are selfless
They think about the earth
Carrying all the weight with them
Which fulfils the water's dearth
How could somebody
Stay out of this gorgeous sight
Since time is transient
And we are on an unstringed kite
I hope this moment
lasts forever
And when this ends
Sorrows of all die soever
