The Disbalance

A quote that baffles me the most-

Knowledge is the greatest power

And with great power comes great responsibility

All of this is true.

But in reverse...

In the real world

Where education is cosmetic capitalism

And knowledge is off the curriculum

You've got to be filthy powerful

To get literacy in the sack.

It all comes with a cost.

Now, it all makes sense

How being devoid of any power

On my shoulder rests a stack of responsibility.

One above the other,

Best known by the names

English, Hindi, Maths, Science

Growing thicker each year

Just like the fees splurged on 

By my father

Who's

Growing thinner by the second.
