"The Chalk and the duster"

Read the conversation between the Chalk and the Duster---

It was a day in the school...

In a classroom,

The children had gone home and teachers too...

The class was empty,

With just benches & chairs & fans & lights.

The classroom was quiet...

No one was talking and the maushi was just mopping.

The maushi too left and there was pin drop silence,

But the Chalk broke out his words and said------

Chalk-Why isn’t anyone talking?

The children are gone and even the teachers.

The mopping is done,

So why hesitation?

Duster-It’s not like that Buddy,

Just erase your words out of your mind.

It’s obvious that no one will come here by our permission.

Chalk-I don’t think that’s real,

Otherwise I will write this on the black board,

With big bold letters...

Duster-Please don’t write, and if you do I will surely erase it!

Chalk-I will keep writing until I get tiny, please don’t interrupt and do your work..

Duster- But then I have the power to erase, I will never end nor fail...The quarrel continued but there was one mistake, those two were fighting 

So other’s got awake...

Fan-Don’t disturb us, we are sleeping, let us take rest...

Lights-Yes, yes fan is positive, Please stop fighting and keep silence...

The two friends kept quiet and maushi entered again...

As the maushi went back, the quarrel was on,

But then the blackboard spoke up...

Blackboard-Don’t quarrel, we make this sure, we learn here ‘Silence’

And not even to snore!!

The Chalk and Duster learnt the truth,

They promised to follow the rules and 

Remain silent while in school!!!!
