You can lean on a thousand people,

But then 999 of them would be evil,

They'd be less of a support and more of a source of pain,

They'd kick you down when you're feeble,

You can have some people guarding your back with knives,

But then they wouldn't put their lives,

At risk for you, so the only knife that won't stab you,

Is yours, the person who knows this always thrives,

You could have your most trusted dogs turn into wolves in packs,

Of plastic covering, the fake concern I mean, it somehow lacks,

Originality and thankfully life's taught me enough to see,

That in the end we're the only one who got our backs,

Because for people you'd walk over rusted tacks,

But then again, their rusted used knife attacks,

None other than you, very smart, that you gotta be,

To accept what's right, over what's easy, to accept the hard facts,

Walked over burning coals for people who don't bother sending a text,

But expect many in return, pretty complex context,

That I'm posing here, you might see yourself as the one I'm aiming at,

But then if you're reading this, you just gotta know it's not you, and you won't be next,

But attachment takes its toll,

It gives you such a poll,

To choose between loving and hating, cuz leaving's no option,

Unconditional meaning, I guess was replaced by a troll,

Because I gotta live under such conditions, I don't know why,

I gotta live at all, why not give it all up and die?

Might seem I'm taking shots at people I'm not aiming at, FYI,

Might be like I'm aiming at you but you'll ignore it, or might be a lie,

See how uneasy uncertainty feels? Yeah now you do,

I'll have my own time when I can pose it too,

And at that time I'd be the one laughing, and you'd try,

Not to cry, but let's see, for now I hope what I think isn't true,

Because I know I can't take it if it's the truth,

But in the fight you'd be the one to loose a tooth,

Cuz you lied so much through your teeth,

That even the worst of liars would leave their booth,

But whatever, I'm getting stronger everyday,

I know I'll be ready to take come-what-may,

Cuz I got my back and I'm here for me,
