The Castle Redefined
The Castle Redefined
The castle stood proud and tall,
Her keep obscured in drifting cloud.
Though strong and secure,
She stood—solitary, secluded.
Her inner beauty, unseen by all.
Her moat and garden more alive—
Teeming with all things bright:
Blossoms blooming, butterflies bobbing,
Cherry tree branches dancing in the wind.
Yet her armored walls held life at bay.
But the walls had to crumble—
There was nothing left to defend.
Only peace, joy, and beauty remained,
Stretching as far as the eye could see.
Her memories gathered close to her breast.
The castle redefined herself—
Becoming a palace, serene and fine.
