The Burning Sky

Outside my window

Is the burning sky

It's midnight hour

So the sky must sleep

But deep inside

It still feels the guilt

For the fault is no one's

But the happening is crucial

For the sky

Is burning in flames

Maybe that's how it cries

In anger and love together

This is what you see

It's difficult to accept

But you understand the need

On my black heart

I tried to paint some red

Unaware of the reality

I was trying to break the cage

I love dreaming

Because everything's so beautiful there

But that's life cheating on you

Giving you fake promises

It's time to get up

And act real

And make your life possible

Enough have I burned for others

Let me burn for myself!
