The Bottle

The Bottle

1 min 295 1 min 295

Rambling by the shore,

Soft sand underneath my feet

Nostalgic waves chasing me

The Urchins resting upon the colossal rocks

The Little crabs up for a nudge

The shy sun yet to rise

And I am Goggling at the vast sea baffled for a retort.

Abruptly stumbled towards the squishy sand;

Discovered a green bottle with a cork to it,

Seemed a hundred years old

Anticipating a letter in it

Just like it happens in Novels and movies..

Eagerly and steadily unbottled it

To my disappointment, didn't find any.

At that moment

Perceived that 'Expectations fail'

Life is like an empty bottle

We should aspire to fill it

With Goals and Happiness!
