The Blood Moon

The Blood Moon

176

Sitting out every night, admiring the beauty of darkness,

My eyes shone, without any tiredness.

Met other people like me, who thought the world is a cheat,

They sit by my side, to cry at the moon’s feet.

Away from the world, sunken in the dark,

We all get hope, seeing the night stars’ spark.

The morning sun's light,

Is a signal for me to begin another fight.

It swept all my places to hide,

Leaving no one by my side.

Night gave me the moon and billions of stars,

Who healed up all my scars.

It took away all my fears, in the form of tears,

And gave me liberty when no one hears.

The night, me and the black forest around,

All I can hear is my own breathing sound.

One fine night, the moon shone brighter than usual,

And something told me the feeling was mutual.

I suddenly started glowing and feeling light,

rose up to that glowing ball's height.

Face to face with the moon, it’s positive light struck my eyes,

And that was

THE BLOOD MOON'S RISE!!
