The Bliss

The Bliss

Unwired

Unplugged

Uninterrupted

I sleep like a log

In swathes of tranquillity

Away from roar of machines

Away from ever noisy humanity

No cacophony

No incessant sounds

Punching dainty ears

Pounding delicate brain

Percolating poison in harried nerves

Stifling my heart and soul with strain

A gossamer veil of stars above

A blanket of peace over my spirit

I sail delightfully in a sea of serenity

In the celestial lap of a quiet universe

My brain connected with just one tune:

SILENCE

Golden morning glow filters in

I wish I had not set the alarm!!
