THE ANECDOTE!

THE ANECDOTE!

Someday, somewhere I lost my smile, Wanna forgot the path, the aisle,

It was all a haunt, not just a tale,

Faced em with my eyes wet, and the face pale,

The sickness, it so got to me,

Just a small hope, that never was hope to be,

I was within the dark, just so helpless,

Never saw the light, the ray nonetheless

Someday, somewhere I lost my smile,

Wanna forgot the path, the aisle!

The spreading, haunting malady,

The unforeseen, the untold reality,

The happy ending, seems to be a delusion,

The smiling faces, the laugh just an illusion,

I was just falling apart, into the abyss,

Into the dark void, can't get over with this,

Alas the tiny timid soul is lost,

Reality would never be known, what did it cost?

Someday, somewhere I lost my smile,

Wanna forgot the path, the aisle!
