Thank The "Moment"

At a place where many journeys end and quite many start and still few cross;

Time presented You to me, in a flash, that I can take my eyes off, Not.

In a crowded station, as a screaming and whistling train sped through his morning routine,

I continuously lost and got back the glimpse, of a flower, in between the gaps of the hurrying bogies.

Seeing you on the other side of a track with a speeding train in between,

Was like a joyous madness between the retreat and rise of full moon waves.

Know not why, it doth seem like a ‘one in a thousand’ blooming flower devoid of colors and yet potentially resplendent;

A face, that was to speak a million meanings, cradle me with a folk lore or take me through a fantasy tale, an epic written with tear and what not!

Those eyes were in hands of Sadness, Disgust and Fear, presenting a fate of thy end;

That you are choosing.

Ah! Never had I skipped my breath for long enough to kiss my death in desperation,

I prayed mad that your feet that approached the madding train, retreat in time;

To be blessed and bless souls around, to keep the life in you alive.

That my stare at you won over your decision to end yourself, in a moment of truth,

Was a sigh of relief and more of accomplishment of giving back the world,

A synonym of beauty and a life of meaning that can serve many a heart.

It was a great day at the crowding station, for, it could have been yet another crowd,

In yet another madness, with yet another journey and yet another tiredness,

But, it was NOT. It was a day to remember and linger in my memory - Thanks to the ‘Moment’!
