Sustain Our Lands
Sustain Our Lands
The barren lands I see
Drenched with litters
All around,
The intermixed components
Screw me up,
Have the concept of
Segregation been lost?
Or has it encrypted only along
The pages of the book?
The flies laying their eggs
The waste adds to the manure
To cultivate
The cracking disaster
Seems to foster
A new soul to flourish
A new disease to yield.
Reduce, reuse and recycle
Our minds run back
To the emboldened paragraph
In the right corner of the book!
If we don't implicate to practice
Are we then supposed to be
Called
The literate jewels of Venice?
The plastic is a prong
Signaling havoc to come,
Throttling the animals to the demise
And plants left with lands
Unable to survive,
The trench and drainage laiden
With bottles scattered
Have we ever thought that
Why the Shower of cloud
Are retrieved to floods
Every year So loud?
Be an apostle
The earth is where we belong
A pioneer to lead
Is what this place needs indeed,
Sustaining lands
And creating paths for the flow
Cleaning up the mess around
Delving into sands dough.
