Suffocate

Suffocate

Take a deep breath

While you still can.

Your children have paused

Polluting for a short span.

Breathe in and out,

Take it deep and slow.

Be careful not to hurt yourself

Or fruits of your embryo.

We will never learn a lesson

We are a shameless being.

There is a sickness in the air

We are only waiting for a vaccine.

Your children will ravage you again,

Only for the cure, we await.

You’d wish you could wear a mask,

So that we would all suffocate.
