Subconscious Rejection

I kept staring at the red rose 

Given by you to me

I kept thinking about you 

I kept asking myself 

If I'm worthy enough 

My soul denied drastically 

You're such an illusion 

Very close yet so far 

Like a drop of mist

On a fresh green leaf 

Now 

I don't deem myself fit 

You'll get hurt I know 

But I shall not deceive you 

I'm the tainted poison 

And

You're like a pure swan

You're that vast sky

While I'm the ladybug of soil
