Strong

Running deep down the dark 

His words still broke my heart 

Promised me to be by my side

How was I supposed to know it was all a lie ?

Our moments together ran in my head 

I wish we would have never met 

Those days now made no sense 

Everything calm appeared so tense 

Tears still ran down my cheeks 

Leaving me all alone and weak 

Was I really not worth at all ?

My soul drained at the very thought 

'Get up' my head yelled at my heart 

'Every end is just a new start ' 

Though the pain drive me insane 

Maybe things could work again 

Looking back now I realised 

That broken girl is long gone by 

Instead stands the one who is strong 

The one who won't ever get wrong
