Strangers

Two complete different identities,

Unaware about each other's existence,

Hailing from completely different worlds,

Interact one day...

 

And it feels like never before,

So different yet so relatable,

So far yet so close,

Completely different yet similar...

 

Those conversations never ended,

Those conversations were everlasting,

Unlike other bonds,

There wasn't any compulsion or formality,

Yet it seemed genuine.

Unlike other bonds,

There weren't any masks or fake faces,

Yet it felt real.

 

Both shared a bond like never before,

From the smallest happenings such as a paper cut,

Up to huge incidents such as fractures or accidents.

 

The communication was so strong,

That even if phone lines weren't functioning,

Yet their telepathic connection was always active.

 

They shared everything,

From headaches to heartaches,

From fears of the future to the fears of the past,

From the silliest things to the deepest secrets,

They shared a bond so strong without knowing each other!

 

But...

They knew each other so well,

Could they be termed as 'strangers'?

Was there any factor due to which they be termed as 'strangers'?

 

They just wait now...

Wait to meet someday in life.

They wait for the time,

When destiny crosses their paths,

And they meet,

And they will be 'strangers' no more...
