It was the spring of 2009

And sneakers you paired up, 

Made me fall for you,

A little more than I thought!

And that wide smile, 

Couldn't stop me from confessing

feelings which were mine!

Aura of your presence, 

Fragrance of your soul, 

Made everything looked, 

As it was, a plan of God! 

How can I forget,

The date you came

For you made me believe 

There exist, perfect soulmates! 

Ten years later, 

When I think of that time

Contented I feel, to realise 

That stranger is now mine!
