Songs Of Life

When the child cries,

The mother sings a lullaby.

And Mother's lullaby to the child,

Happens to be the first song of Life.

Now as the child grows to an adult,

The songs of life keep changing,

Even as the first song is fondly remembered.

We are in difficult & harsh times,

And find ourselves facing tough situations.

"To each, his own" is the prevailing slogan,

"To each his survival" is the existing showdown.

Weep alone but in dignified silence & decorum,

Weep not in sorrow but in joy & gratitude, 

Because Mother's grace is always upon you!
