I stare at the 'bye'

Displayed on the screen

Not wanting to let this conversation end,

Do you, sometimes, think the same?

I sometimes start afresh and our talks are left midway

Do you ever wonder what that story could have been?

Do those hiccups come to tell you

as the old folks say?

Do you get anxious

why your cell phone didn't ping?

Sometimes when we meet after days
