Sometimes The Genuine Is Fake

Sometimes the most genuine is fake,

The mirage in the desert also seems to be a lake,

We get confused and entangled with the illusion,

Genuineness and veracity is now a rare fusion.

Sometimes the destination is too obscure,

And the path we follow others would abhor.

Many of us try hard to make our future secure,

Well, the downtrodden do not have the present as yours.

Hypocrisy has become the new trend,

False promises and assurance sometimes difficult to mend,

At times you would be abandoned by the so-called friend,

Do not lose hope till the time you are alive on this land.

The clam and soothing moonlight that we appreciate,

Is part of the scorching and sultry sun that we usually hate.

Sometimes the adversity and obstacles open a new gate,

Have the courage to step up and leave all uncertainties to fate.
