Someday!
Someday!
Someday I want to climb high
High up the mountains,
That seem to touch the sky.
Be a part of a range, so large,
That I'll finally understand, how tiny I am.
In a small tent I'll stay
Where people won't tell me,
What I should wear
And how I should behave.
They won't care for my qualifications
All they'll want to see, is a smile on my face.
I'll forget about the frivolities
And focus only on
What really matters to me.
The people here, are living at an altitude,
That's higher than the height,
Of the clouds, floating in the sky.
Here, possessions don't matter,
Because the sole focus is happiness
And being satisfied with what you have.
For millennia, enlightened men
Have made the mountains their abode.
Here they look, for the answers,
That plague us humans, our entire lives.
In the world we live in
We keep looking at other men
But up there, in the skies.
You look at the grandeur of nature
And because there's so little human activity
Your focus shifts to your own body and mind.
Someday I wish to leave
Everything I own, behind.
Be by myself,
And find peace inside.
