Somber Diamonds Of Sapphire And Emerald
Somber Diamonds Of Sapphire And Emerald
Tapping people, shaking them
Swaying them side by side
It was trying to reach out for help
The hands of wind tried
It thrashed violently to be free
Its legs are tied to the ocean floor
It desperately clawed to leave
The waves tried to stay onshore
Its white soft eyes
Had soaked in so much pain
They were heavy inside
So they finally broke out in the rain
The sky clutched its torso of bruises
And thunderously sobbed
Its traumatic marks change their hues
From dusk till dawn
The mask on its face
Was obliterating and melting away
Exposed on the surface
It’s suffering and chaos wide on display
It’d promised to serve
Everyone and anyone else
Except it forgets to take care
Of its own withering self
So while it healed and provided others
Who acknowledged its own hurt?
It tried to be a friend, father, and mother
But No one was there for her, poor earth
