Solitary Evening
Solitary Evening
It was a solitary evening that beaconed me to penetrate in abyss of silence.
The bridal sphere was shrinking beyond the range of azimuth,
And the crepuscular sky quietly putting out all the lights
Stealthily enwrapped my presence in the ebony cloak of twilight.
I was indebted to its clandestine gesture,
Masquerading my stormy heart and m streaming eyes in its fortified refuge.
I released a sigh of relief in its cozy enclosure
For I did succeed to obviate the intrigued eyes
That could have adulterated my chain of solitude.
My inundated emotions shattered the barrage of my heart
To assimilate with its harmonious confluence.
Ascetic evening assuaged my wilted soul
With the enchantment of meditative silence.
And I surrendered to the confinement of its unobtrusive influence.
