Shadows of despair
Shadows of despair
The will to live has faded away,
Paths once clear now lost in disarray.
Every ache pierces like a knife,
No solace found, no comfort in life.
Neither sun's warm touch nor shade's reprieve,
No gentle breeze, no village's peaceful leave,
Not even birdsong brings a smile,
We're shattered fragments of a hidden trial.
Fate's wounds run deep, we're tormented by our own,
Every step forward, an abyss is sown.
A mother's love knows no defeat, she'd say,
But we can't bear the hypocrisy of the fray,
Yet for one life, we die a thousand times,
In this endless struggle, our hearts entwine.
