At 1.15 it was all over
The final bell had rung
Time to leave
Departure...

Creating a young mind with an undying flame
To serve...to teach...to learn
Flowers, cards, messages, tokens flood
You smile across the wooden frame
From another world.
The bell had summoned your departure
But had also ushered an awakening...
Life for you was a celebration
And death no less
Long after you have left
The spirit for battle continues
With grace, with dignity
Life's ultimate triumph... over death
