Seasonal Love
Seasonal Love
The beginnings are sweet,
As if spring on a chestnut tree.
Replies come in a minute,
And for their attention we're desperate.
Things move forward,
A little more of the flirt.
Things heat up as if Summer,
And life seems beautiful because of the newcomer.
Tensions rise
And head's full of lies.
As if it were Autumn, the coldness sets.
The answer to coldness seems cigarettes
Then it'll be Winter,
It'll be cold and you'll leave just as you had entered.
We'll be together no more,
And I'll doubt "True Love' forever.
Our Seasonal Love starts with spring,
Yet ends in winter,
Giving our hearts its deepest shivers...
