Rush
Rush
The winds picked up speed
I felt the need to rush home and sleep
The sky showered little sparks on top of me
Gazing up I saw sand the colour was gold
Running down the hill and following a piece of paper
Labour was everywhere around me as I moved through the streets
Brick by brick led down to the docks
A boat waited for me to board
Next to me was a man cloaked in darkness
Fondness in his eyes as he led me on the boat
My throat felt dry as I gazed into his green eyes
He was a sight to behold and yet I couldn't rest
I felt stressed being on this boat with him as he held my hand
A grand land was where he was taking me and I didn't feel safe
I was in grave danger and the man continued to rub his thumb across the back of my hand
His voice was velvet and I fell into the trap
There was no turning back, I was his the moment his skin touched mine.
