Came like rain, drenching me with the colors of life,

colored me in your shades,

covered me with your essence and I made myself a part of you.

I was you,

the same soul, the same feelings,

just two different bodies separated physically but united thoughtfully.

But like the changing seasons, you changed as well.

The autumn of my life arrived.

And here I am, waiting for you to bring spring,

so I can blossom again and rise from the fallen self.
