Relive
Relive
Can I revert some days of my life gone,
Bring back those old golden days along,
Return the Nataraj I stole in standard three,
Untie the rope I tied on her make free,
Punctured the tyre of cars so many,
Or make the aspects I threw of my Nanny,
Pretend to be police and scare my little sister,
Take a fake snake and whim her hiss hiss,
Could again build a castle in sand,
And make my cousin smile again,
Could be again a size younger packet,
To fit well in my favourite blue jacket,
Revert that eleventh-hour preparation,
And study thoroughly the whole year a nation,
Could be a year old and jump from room to room,
Eat from my Mom's hand and watch Popeye cartoon,
Teasing my bro for being adopted,
Annoying my teacher with aeroplane opted,
Could I ever build a time machine,
Not future but go to my past keen,
Set all the odds done right,
Promise to my siblings not to fight,
Sorry to all those I hurt as a child,
Innocent deeds I did assume all mild,
To revert back those deeds done innocent,
Forgive and forget those less per cent.
