The moon was shining bright

It was a beautiful night

I and you came into bed

Read our favorite stories

We saw a shadow

With an angry face

Looking through the window

Staring at us

 

Mom kissed me

I was fast asleep

My brother woke up

in the middle of the night

Saw the shadow

Thought it was a zombie

Scared everybody

Shouted like an angry bird, lost in the woods

He got startled

Kept calling mom

Shouted and shouted

Until she came along

 

She 

Switched on the lights

I woke up in a fright

In the middle of the night

Nobody could get any sleep

Just because of my brother

Scared of the zombie
