Quarantine Me Forever

Dear Diary,

First day of the quarantine

I went dizzy and uneventful.

Cleaned the house, cooked delicacies as usual

Spent some hours writing to pull out the deadlines

Entertained kids as they knew not about being shutdown.

The husband looked at me flattering

Every time he said, bring me some tea darling

I am working from home, he reminded

With a sense of relaxation and demand

Everyone seems to love their lockdown period

Except me, who can't see any difference major.

Oh, I get it I smiled!

For years I have quarantined myself into the four walls for my loved one,

This crisis too will pass, will handle it again like a pro dear.
